A fair way to pick a giveaway winner
Running a giveaway means someone will ask how the winner was chosen. This page is set up for that. Number your entries from 1 up to your last ticket, enter the highest number as the maximum, and press Generate. Every ticket has an equal chance, and no one, including us, can influence the draw.
If you are drawing more than one prize, set How many? to the number of winners. Duplicates are switched off on this page, so the same ticket cannot win twice in one draw. If someone is disqualified, type their ticket number into Exclude numbers and draw again.
How to use this tool
- Give every entry a number, starting at 1.
- Set the Maximum to your highest ticket number. The default is 500.
- Set How many? to the number of winners you need.
- Press Generate, copy the result, and keep the history list as a record of the draw.
- If a winner does not respond, add their number to Exclude numbers and draw a replacement.
Ways to use it
- Social media and newsletter giveaways where entries are numbered in order.
- School, club and charity raffles with printed tickets.
- Choosing winners from a spreadsheet by row number.
- Door prizes at meetings, workshops and community events.
Is it fair and private?
Every result on SpinPicker is picked at random by your own browser, and every number or entry has exactly the same chance. Nothing is sent to a server, so nobody else can see or change your result.
