Fake Word Generator

Create pronounceable made-up words in one click. Good for games, character names, brand ideas and tests.

Press the button to invent some words.

Invented words you can actually say

The generator builds words from short sound blocks, a starting sound, a vowel and an optional ending, then joins one to three of them together. That is why the results look like words you could say out loud, such as bravon, slist or quoomt, instead of random strings of letters.

Pick how many syllables you want or let the tool mix them up. Turn capitalization on to get names. Everything is generated in your browser, and each press gives a fresh list with no repeats inside it.

Is it fair and private?

Every result on SpinPicker is picked at random by your own browser, and every number or entry has exactly the same chance. Nothing is sent to a server, so nobody else can see or change your result.
