1 or 2 Wheel

A clean two-option wheel for a fair 50/50 choice. Keep 1 and 2, or rename them to anything you like.

Total spins: 0 ·

A simple 50/50 choice

Two options, one wheel, half each. The 1 or 2 wheel is the quickest way to settle a choice between two things. Spin it and the pointer lands on one side. Because each slice takes up exactly half of the wheel and the result is picked at random, the odds really are fifty-fifty.

Rename the entries to match your decision, such as Tea and Coffee, Home and Away, or Truth and Dare. You can also add a third or fourth option if you decide that a simple 50/50 is not enough.

How to use this tool

  1. Keep the entries 1 and 2, or type your own two options.
  2. Press Spin the wheel or tap the centre button.
  3. Read the result in the pop-up.
  4. Spin again if you are playing best of three.

Ways to use it

  • Choosing between two restaurants, routes or films.
  • Deciding who goes first in a game.
  • Running a best-of-three or best-of-five tie-break.
  • Teaching children about fairness and probability.

Is it fair and private?

Every result on SpinPicker is picked at random by your own browser, and every number or entry has exactly the same chance. Nothing is sent to a server, so nobody else can see or change your result.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really 50/50?

Yes. Each option has half of the wheel and an equal chance of being chosen.

Can I use options other than 1 and 2?

Yes. Edit the entries box to any text. The page will still work as a two-way wheel.

Can I make it three or more options?

Yes. Add more lines. The wheel splits evenly between all entries.

Why use a wheel instead of a coin?

A wheel is easier to see on a screen, works for a group, and you can show it on a projector or share the screen.
