Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-20

This policy explains what information SpinPicker (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit spinpicker.site, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to a minimum.

Information you enter into the tools

The numbers, names, entries and lists you type into our tools are processed in your browser. They are not sent to our servers and we cannot see them.

Information stored on your device

To make the site more convenient, we save a few settings in your browser's local storage: your theme (light or dark), your latest wheel settings, and any wheels you choose to save. This data stays on your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data or by using the Reset button on the wheel pages.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which tools and articles they use. Google Analytics may collect information such as your approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, pages viewed and the time spent on them. We do not use it to identify you personally. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics storage is switched off by default. You can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

SpinPicker is free to use and we may show advertising to cover our costs, including ads provided by Google AdSense. When ads are shown, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or visit aboutads.info to opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before showing personalized ads.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We do not set cookies ourselves for tracking. Cookies may be set by Google Analytics and, when ads are enabled, by Google and its advertising partners. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop the tools from working.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, it may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of request, for security and reliability purposes.

Third-party links

Our pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, in the EU, the UK or California), you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it. Because we do not collect personal data through the tools, there is usually little to share, but you are welcome to ask by emailing us.

Children

SpinPicker is a general audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
